The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, under the diligent leadership of Comrade Lee Yn-na, is proud to present the official schedule of traditional celebrations and holidays for the month of July. These sacred observances reflect the rich and harmonious heritage of our great nation.
July 7th – Tanabata Festival / Day of the Heavenly Weaver
A beautiful celebration of love and destiny, where the people of Qinda honour the legendary meeting of the celestial weaver and her beloved cowherd. Let us all write our wishes on vibrant strips of paper and hang them beneath the stars, as we reaffirm our national unity and shared dreams for prosperity.
July 11th – Day of the Sea
On this day, we pay tribute to the boundless waters that sustain our nation. Let all our people reflect on the maritime strength and fishing traditions that have nourished our people for generations.
July 15th – Obon Festival
A solemn yet joyous occasion where we honour the spirits of our ancestors. Through lanterns, dances, and offerings, we demonstrate the unbreakable bond between past and present, proving that Qinda’s legacy is eternal.
July 16th – Maritime Day
Another testament to Qinda’s deep connection to the ocean, celebrating the sailors, fishermen, and naval defenders who ensure our nation’s prosperity and security.
Comrade Lee Yn-na urges all citizens to participate in these celebrations with the utmost pride and reverence. These festivals are the living heartbeat of Qinda’s identity. Schools, workplaces, and community centres shall organise appropriate events to mark these occasions.
Let the world see the strength of our culture! Let every Qindan, young and old, embrace these traditions with patriotic fervour!
