SUMMARY:Obon Festival
DESCRIPTION:Obon (お盆) is a fusion of the ancient Japanese belief in ancestral spirits and a Japanese Buddhist custom to honour the spirits of one’s ancestors. \n\n\n\nThis Buddhist custom has evolved into a family reunion holiday during which people return to ancestral family places and visit and clean their ancestors’ graves when the spirits of ancestors are supposed to revisit the household altars. \n\n\n\nIt has been celebrated in Japan for more than 500 years and traditionally includes a dance\, known as Bon Odori.

SUMMARY:Tanabata Festival / Day of the Heavenly Weaver
DESCRIPTION:A beautiful celebration of love and destiny\, where the people of Qinda honour the legendary meeting of the celestial weaver and her beloved cowherd. Let us all write our wishes on vibrant strips of paper and hang them beneath the stars\, as we reaffirm our national unity and shared dreams for prosperity. \n\n\n\nAccording to legend\, the Milky Way separates these lovers\, and they are allowed to meet only once a year on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month of the lunisolar calendar.
